| George Clooney received three Golden Globe nominations. THREE. Supporting actor (Syriana), Director (Goodnight and Goodluck), and Writer (Goodnight and Goodluck). Plus Goodnight and Goodluck was nominated for best picture. I can die happy now.

| Ok, I'm developing a serious complex.
Today, everyone I ran into, and I mean EVERYONE- teachers, TA's, friends, strangers- commented on how beautiful I look. Striking. Gorgeous. This is very nice, but I really wasn't dressed up or anything, so this begs the question- how scruffy do I normally look? Maybe this is just a good shirt (I suppose green is a good color for me).
Or maybe it was the shower. I should try that more often.
Ha ha, the irony. I shower more than anyone I know. Just ask anyone who has tried to call me at home (ie. "Can she call you back later Erin, she's in the shower.").
Bah.
Oh well, it's nice to be pretty.

| I leave for Ashland in an hour and a half. I'm so beyond excited. I'm gonna see Richard III, Twelfth Night, The Belle's Stratagem, and The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus!!! Ok, I know alot of you are like- Kelsey you loser, you are going to a small town in the middle of nowhere southern oregon, to see a couple of old plays. But this is like IT for me. This is my Super Bowl, my World Series! Or for those of you that don't go out for sports- my "seeing Wicked on Broadway" or, I don't know, "Pink Floyd at the Gorge". Or whatever else is your big event for the year. Ok, I've stopped making sense so I'm gonna stop.

| Hey!
Is there anyone out there who would want to go shopping with me. I especially need jeans. It just occured to me that with Erin gone and Sammy busy with colorguard I have no one to clothing shop with. At this point my options are to not get new jeans (boo) or go to the mall by myself (double boo). This particular trip would probably include a trip to the Gap and Express- but I'm willing to go anywhere else.

Ooh- if someone wants to go shopping we could even go to the U Village. That could be fun!

| AHHHH! My life is chaos. I don't even have time to make a real entry, telling everyone about all the wacky things that have been happening. But I hope to. Soon. Just wanted all my friends who are out there going "hey, remember that red-headed chick we used to hang out with"- I will surface eventually.

| Reading Harry Potter. Am only allowing myself 100 pages a day, or I will get nothing else done. Very concerned. So far, I have found this book very predictable, which is bad. Fun, and otherwise well written, but strangely familiar. I see what is coming, and it's bad. I still hold hope that there will be some giant surprise reversal- like in the 1st book- but I don't think so.
Plus, if one of the plot points goes where I think it's going, then JK Rowling cracked her way into my e-mail box and stole ideas from the fanfiction Erin and I were writing.
Yes, Erin and I wrote fanfiction. We are very sick people.
Oh, Erin- call me. You are probably already finished- you are sicker than I am. I don't want you to tell me what's coming, but I want to tell you what I think is coming, just for the record. Plus, If you have finished and this is going where I think it's going, you will want to rant.
On a completely different note- I have now seen Charlie & the Chocolate factory twice. I think it was even better the second time. Really, wow, there are no words. If by some chance you have not gone, go. NOW! I would suggest the Edmonds Theater. Cheaper, plus you get that small town close knit feel. Very exciting.
Oh, and Sammy, why don't you call me too. I haven't seen you all summer, and that is cause for even greater concern than Harry Potter.

| YAY! Hope all your summers are going well. I just saw Bewitched with Erin and Phil. It's not going to win any awards, but it is definitely cute. I love Nicole Kidman! Saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith yesterday- that was some chemistry!!! And, the grand total for Batman Begins (so far) is 3. Once with Huertas, Erin, and Phil (opening night) and twice with my family. That is probably my favorite movie of the year. Hitchhiker's Guide is a very close second. Anyway, just got a call from the Driftwood Players- I'm going to be the Assistant Stage Manager for their next show!!!! Starting Sunday. WHAAAAAT?!?!?!
I'm really excited.
